For optimal compatibility, ensure that use that your Testdriver service and Testdriver Client application come from the same release version number. 

Please follow these steps for the most convenient way to update to a newer release:

  1. Import the new Testdriver Client into the Testdriver Admin Tool.
  2. Allow all connected endpoint computers to update to the new Testdriver Client application.
  3. Update the Testdriver Service by running Testdriver-setup.version.exe.


Make sure you perfom each step in the correct order. Systems with an older client that are not updated before the latest Testdriver service is installed (step 3) may require the new client to be installed manually in order to connect to the Testdriver service.
