The Results screen is where you can view and manage the results from your benchmark runs.

Search, sort and filter

Use the collapsible panel on the left to search through past runs based on date, run name, and test name. For example, typing ‘extreme’ in the Test contains field, then pressing enter or clicking the Filter button, will list all runs from the selected date range that included tests like Time Spy Extreme and Fire Strike Extreme.

One or more runs can be selected for display.

Runs can also be deleted or their names and descriptions updated.

Clicking the chevron on the side panel collapses it to give more room for the results display.

Merge runs

You can merge runs to better organize your results. Select two or more runs and click the Merge button. This moves all the results into the oldest selected run and deletes the newer run(s).

Detailed scores

The panel on the right lists the selected runs and displays their aggregated results. You can use filters to further narrow the results down to a certain set of tests or endpoints. The benchmark scores can be shown in a table or a chart.

If there is more than one result for a given endpoint and score type, then the best score from the best result is shown. The shadowed bar indicates the maximum and minimum of these scores. Hovering with the mouse reveals the numeric values.

Individual results

Enabling the Individual results toggle reveals each score, as well as a link to download the individual result file. You can re-assign a result to another device by clicking the Edit button.

Hardware info

Shows hardware info in the table when enabled.

Errors

Shows errors in the table when enabled.

Separate by UI version

When enabled, this setting displays results from different versions of the same benchmark in separate columns.

Column reordering

Columns can be hidden or rearranged. Simply click the column selector and highlight or de-select the columns you wish to see. To move a column, drag and drop the column from the header to the new location.

Print-friendly layouts

Print-friendly stylesheets for results tables are included. Tables can also be saved as a PDF using your browser’s print-to-PDF function. With the desired results open, press Ctrl+P to open the browser’s print dialog. To save a PDF file, select “Print to PDF” as the printer.

Charts

You can visualize your results in a chart. Click on the Chart button near the top of the screen to switch to chart view.

You can choose each axis individually. Choosing two scores for the axes displays a scatter plot. Choosing a score and a hardware info field displays a bar chart. Hover over a bar or data point to see the details.

Exporting results

You can export results from Testdriver in Excel format, allowing users to do their own analysis of the data and create charts that suit their needs.

The export modes are Excel or CSV and are based on a WYSIWIG (What You See Is What you Get) model, this means you can customize the data you want to see in the Testdriver Service, then click Excel or CSV and the data you export will match the table in the web UI exactly.
