The Idle scenario measures battery life when the PC isn’t performing any active tasks. The screen is kept on, but there is no other activity other than a small amount of CPU load from running the Procyon application. The Idle scenario produces the upper limit of the system's battery life profile.
No activity is performed on the system other than keeping the screen on for the duration of the test.
The UL Procyon Battery Life Benchmark reports battery life as the time taken from the start of the test until the PC goes into hibernation or shuts down. The time is reported in hours and minutes.
