The office productivity scenario uses Microsoft Office applications to simulate a working day.
Implementation
The benchmark uses the same workloads as the Procyon Office Productivity Benchmark. It uses Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook to run workloads in a loop. A screen calibration tool has the ability to take screen brightness into account, something which can impact battery life. The score is measured in minutes of battery life.
Benchmark result
The UL Procyon Battery Life Benchmark reports battery life as the time taken from the start of the test until the PC goes into hibernation or shuts down. The time is reported in hours and minutes.
