A benchmark version number is specific to a test. Benchmark version numbers change rarely and only when absolutely necessary to accommodate changes in third-party applications or bug fixes.

The Video Editing Benchmark 1.5 requires Premiere Pro 25.3 and does not support earlier versions. Results are not comparable to previous versions of the Video Editing Benchmark  

  • You are still able to select the legacy Video Editing Benchmark 1.2 if you have earlier versions of Adobe Premiere Pro installed. 
  • The export step in H.265 4K is replaced with H.264 4K as Premiere Pro 25.3 no longer supports exporting H.265 via scripting. 
  • The option to use software rendering is no longer available as Adobe Premiere Pro 25.3 and later no longer support it.

  • This update introduces a toggle for measuring video editing performance with GPU acceleration enabled, producing a separate score. 
  • In order to support the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro, benchmark scores are notably affected and are not comparable with results from UL Procyon Video Editing Benchmark version 1.2.404 or earlier.
