Introduction to DirectX 12 Ultimate

DirectX 12 Ultimate is the next generation for gaming graphics. It adds powerful new capabilities to DirectX 12, helping game developers improve visual quality, boost frame rates, reduce loading times, and create vast, detailed worlds.

3DMark Speed Way’s engine demonstrates what the DirectX 12 Ultimate API brings to ray-traced gaming. It uses DirectX Raytracing tier 1.1 for real-time global illumination and real-time raytraced reflections, as well as new performance optimizations like Mesh Shaders.

3DMark Speed Way was developed with expert input from AMD, Intel, NVIDIA, and the other members of the UL Benchmark Development Program.

HDR

HDR can be enabled in custom benchmark runs and Interactive mode. You need a HDR capable monitor and GPU to enable HDR.
