The benchmark result screen shows you your score and other data from your benchmark run.

Benchmark score

This is the most essential part of the result screen. It contains your 3DMark score and a chart that shows you how your score compares with results from other systems. It aims to answer the question, "Is this a good 3DMark score for my PC?"

You can see your 3DMark benchmark score in the top-left corner of the result screen. The higher the score, the better the performance. The green arc shows you how your score compares with the best score for your hardware. 

Below your score, you can see the CPU and GPU model information for your system.

Score context

This part of the Benchmark score section provides context for your score. It helps you see at a glance how your score compares with other results from systems with the same hardware.

  • Your score is shown in green.
  • The average score of all valid benchmark results from systems with the same hardware is shown in blue.
  • The best score is the highest valid benchmark score for this combination of CPU and GPU.  

Score comparison chart

This chart shows the range of scores submitted by other 3DMark users with the same combination of CPU and GPU.

The peaks in the chart show the most common scores. The green line shows your score. The blue, dotted line shows the average score for your combination of components.

If your score is close to the average, it means your PC is working as it should. A score well below the average could indicate a hardware or configuration problem. The best score gives you an idea of the overclocking potential of your setup.


  • Click on the Compare result online button to see your result on
  • Click Load to open another benchmark result file saved on your PC.
  • Click Save to save the result in a different location or under a different filename.
  • In 3DMark Professional Edition, the Export XML button saves your result as an XML file for record-keeping or further analysis in other tools.


As well as the benchmark score, some 3DMark benchmarks produce subscores such as Graphics Score or CPU Score, as shown in this screenshot.

Estimated game performance

This section shows you the frame rates you can expect in a selection of popular games based on your 3DMark score. These game performance estimates are powered by extensive data from our in-house testing. 

Use the first drop-down to choose a game. For each game, you can choose either 1080p Ultra or 1440p Ultra with the second drop-down. Ultra means using the game’s highest visual quality settings. Ray tracing options, if available, are turned off.


The chart in this section shows you how CPU and GPU temperatures, clock speeds, and the frame rate changed during your benchmark run. Click on the legend to change the metric shown in the chart. Move your mouse pointer over the chart to see the values at each point.

System information

This section shows information about your system and the benchmark run. The green check icon indicates the GPU and display that were used in the benchmark run. Click on the three-dots icon to show or hide an expanded view that includes more details of the components in your system. 

Settings used

If the benchmark has additional settings, those settings will be shown in this section.

Detailed scores

This section contains any subscores and workload scores produced by the benchmark.

Detailed monitoring

The Detailed monitoring section provides an expanded view of the charts in the Monitoring section. You can move your mouse pointer over a chart to see all the values at each point.
