The 3DMark DirectX Raytracing Test requires a graphics card with drivers that support DirectX Raytracing (DXR) Tier 1.1.

If you have a compatible card, first check that you have the latest drivers.

If you are certain your card should support DXR Tier 1.1, and you still see this error message, try wiping your graphics drivers and then reinstalling the latest drivers for your graphics card.

AMD

All AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series graphics cards and later support DXR Tier 1.1.

Older AMD cards do not have DXR support and cannot run this test.

NVIDIA

All NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20-series, RTX 30-series, RTX 40-series and later support DXR Tier 1.1. All professional RTX-series graphics cards support DXR Tier 1.1.

While some older GeForce GTX 10-series cards have DXR drivers and can run Port Royal, these drivers do not have DXR Tier 1.1 support.

Note that if you are sure you have compatible hardware but you are seeing this error, it may also mean that the initial compatibility scan has failed and the UI does not know what features your system supports. Most common way this can occur is if you have Vulkan SDK installed and it is used to modify Vulkan rendering in some way which can in rare cases break the compatibility checker component.
